Meryl Donoghue is our youngest artist at age 23 and yet her work is already breathtakingly well formed. Recently Graduated from Bath Spa University with a First in Fine Art and awarded the University Prize for her degree show. Enticing you into a twisted fairytale world of transformed figures, Meryl’s work is beautiful and disturbing at the same time. Meryl’s creations begin as pencil drawings, which she then brings into life through a mix of photography, scanning and digital manipulation until their final, super-glossy form. Stolenspace
"My work explores the idea of mortality and makes reference to closely associated topics such as the pursuit of the transcendental dimension, the notion of bereavement and the complexity of emotions that loss evokes. I am heavily influenced by folklore, mythology and the idea of narrative. I aim to tell a story through my work, to construct a fanttasy that will create intrigue and lure the viewer into a world of my own creation". Meryl Donoghue
In a happy suburban neighborhood surrounded by white picket fences with flowering rose bushes, sits a black house with a dead lawn. Unbeknownst to the neighbors, hidden beneath this home is a vast secret hideout. Surrounded by a small army of minions, we discover Gru (voiced by Steve Carell), planning the biggest heist in the history of the world. He is going to steal the moon (Yes, the moon!) in Universal’s new 3-D CGI feature, Despicable Me. Gru delights in all things wicked. Armed with his arsenal of shrink rays, freeze rays, and battle-ready vehicles for land and air, he vanquishes all who stand in his way. Until the day he encounters the immense will of three little orphaned girls who look at him and see something that no one else has ever seen: a potential Dad. The world’s greatest villain has just met his greatest challenge: three little girls named Margo, Edith and Agnes.

Francois Rosso gives us his vision of a technological world before the digital revolution. His photo-montages laid out like film cuts are remains of the chemical photography era. They are full of obscure doodling, handwriting and intriguing signs and numbers - pre-digital architects were constructors as well as designers. With nostalgia and humour, the artist depicts a time when human beings were in symbiosis with their tangible creations.
Francois Rosso is a painter as well as a photographer. He holds a degree in fine arts and has worked for many years as a story-boarder for the cinema industry. He did his first photography exhibition in Paris in 1998 and then explored video with two experimental movies in 2003 and 2005. His art is now focused on mixed media photo-montages The French Art Studio

The Tagtool is a performative visual instrument used on stage and on the street. It serves as a VJ tool, a creative video game, or an intuitive way of creating animation.
The system is operated collaboratively by an artist drawing the pictures and an animator adding movement to the artwork with a gamepad. The design achieves virtually unlimited artistic complexity with a simple set of controls, which can be mastered even by children.
The project is coordinated by OMA International. Our approach is that all knowledge acquired within the Tagtool project should be shared. We are inspired by the open source movement and believe that it is also relevant for the digital arts. Tagtool

A Canadian national with a mix of Jamaican, Native Canadian Indian, French and Swedish heritage, Kinny – aka Caitlin Simpson – has always been immersed in an eclectic pool of cultural and musical influences. With a voice that sashays effortlessly between vertiginous, soaring melodies, steely staccato verses and caramel-dipped dulcet tones, it will come as no surprise that Kinny was a classically trained opera singer before the spontaneity and freedom of jazz, reggae and soul music lured her into pursuing her true passion.
Working with seven different producers on ‘Idle Forest Of Chit Chat’ has enabled Kinny to push the boundaries of her own exceptional talent and expose herself to various styles and ways of working – from the tropical, live funk of The Quantic Soul Orchestra and Nostalgia 77’s deep modern jazz; through the catchy, soulful electronica of TM Juke and Souldrop; to Unforscene’s evocative soundscapes and a dose of lush, jazzy soul with a pop sensibility from Hint and Diesler. The result is an exciting melee of influences, all bound together by the unswerving class and charisma of Kinny’s persona. Tru-Thoughts
