Big news in town this week was the launch of the Bon Esprit Amsterdam website.
" Bon-Esprit is a rowdy bunch of English-speaking Frenchies based in Amsterdam.
Punk and chic, we bring manners to white-trash.
Our motley crew of artists, personal coaches, designers, P.R. and skateboard addicts concocts a wide variety of events: Fancy-dressed picnics, i-pod battles, Riot Girlz balls and Parties with the cream of the underground scene…
Always in a decadent and generous spirit. "

Since its publication in 1865, Lewis Carroll's Alice's Adventures in Wonderland has delighted the world with a wildly imaginative and unforgettable journey, inspiring children of all ages to suspend disbelief and follow Alice into her fantasy worlds. This new gift edition presents Carroll's tale fully unabridged with a unique visual interpretation by renowned artist Camille Rose Garcia. Harper Collins
Watch | Camille Rose Garcia behind the scenes
Camille Rose Garcia was born in 1970 in Los Angeles, California, and grew up in the generic suburbs of Orange County, where she visited Disneyland and went to punk shows with the other disenchanted youth of that era. Her paintings of creepy cartoon children living in wasteland fairy tales are critical commentaries on the failures of capitalist utopias, blending nostalgic pop culture references with a satirical slant on modern society.
Vey cool Gui Borato remix from the track Paradise Circus (feat. Hope Sandoval), from the new Massive Attack Album.

This video shows a summary of various student's projects displayed at the TROIA pixel room in Bremen, Germany in 2006. The projects are the results of a class called "Live SDI", which took place at the HfK Bremen (University of Fine Arts) in 2005/2006.
They are experiments with light, sound, emotion, ambience and space, meant to be more than mere video displays, creating an animated room. The walls contain real LED pixels, which makes a difference from normal video projectors. If all lights are turned off, the room turns pitch black. All lights on is increadibly bright. The room has a refresh-rate of 50 Hz, so the impression of the live-performance was quite intense.
The project was challenging, but fun to carry out, sadly enough we never managed to have a huge club-party in that room, due to security issues.
