Strap a drum to your back and look for adventure! That's what Convoi Exceptional has been doing from Berlin to Copenhagen, Paris to Rome and back to their home base in the Dutch city of Rotterdam. Over the past few years the five guys that make up Convoi Exceptional have been conquering the streets of Europe. `Performing on the streets is fantastic. It's fun getting busy shoppers to stop and listen and see them be swept up in the amazing energy produced by the beat of the drums.
Convoi Exceptional are going to give a special performance and show the movie they did while playing in the streets on New York next Friday march 12 @ De Nieuwe Anita in Amsterdam.

Jean-Michel Basquiat (December 22, 1960 August 12, 1988) was an American artist and is cited by Graham Thompson as the first painter of African descent to become an international art star. He started as a graffiti artist in New York City, and in the 1980s produced Neo-expressionist painting. Basquiat died of a heroin overdose on August 12, 1988.
