Holy Fuck,Dan Mangan,Nina Nastasia, Nimk,We Love Machines,Subbacultcha, Robot Disaster,Aaron McElroy,Adam Kesher, Gebroken Wit,Kyle Bobby Dunn,Mixtape

Holy Fuck Dj set in Amsterdam was a feast to my ears, so much class, more and more i prefer to listen to non Dj's but to guys with awesome taste and music collections.
Even before they started i had a very good idea of what to expect and i loved it, psychedelic electronic music, groovy heavy basses, disco and other classics on the mix, lots of cool stuff and if im not mistaken because i was a bit pissed, Emperor Machine, Chicken Lips, Junior Boys, Woolfy VS Projections etc... ... The guy that played after Holy Fuck, gimme a brake dude, after a music feast like that house music !!!!!! My advice is gardening, car washing or fishing.
Trouw is a awesome industrial building that is perfect for epic photography and i would like to spend there one afternoon taking pictures.

Great animated music video for Dan Mangan "Road Regrets" Produced at Blatant Studios, Vancouver.

One of my favorite singer/songwriters Nina Nastasia has a new album in the pipeline, "Oulaster" is due for release in early June on Fat Cat.

The first single is called Cry Cry Baby and there is a great live acoustic recording on Nina's own appartment in New York.

Wonderful work of New York Photografer Aaron McElroy.

" In my work I toy with the thinnest lines set between reality and a sense of the unreal. Through to the admixture, I further adjust to a reality punctured, a more surreal placement of life, lying just beneath a surface. Scenes in their randomness, the moments underneath--the subject is one not detracting from reality, but only serving to punctuate the delineation away from reality, towards the essence. " Aaron McElroy

This just landed of my email and it promises.
Adam Kesher is a Indie French band and they have been having a lot of help from people from the bussines, the debut album album "Challenging Nature" is produced by Dave One (Chromeo) with additional mixing from Philippe Zdar (Cassius), A-Trak and Pierrick Devin! Gorgeous super 8mm film shot in the Netherlands during one of the toughest winters since years produced by the Dutch team J.T. Sterkenburg and K. de Vries aka Muziektelevisie from Groningen.

For a few months already i was thinking if i had lost the interest in drone music or if there are less records being produced, is really difficult for me to explain technically what is a drone and even more difficult is to explain in words what makes a excellent drone record. I started listening to this genre with William Basinsky, Belong, Stars of the Lid, Keith Fullerton Whitman, Tim Hecker and Dead Texan so i based my assumptions based on what i heard on these wonderful records.

This week i received an email from Kyle Bobby Dunn a minimalist composer from New York and after listening to what he sent me i was stunned and i recommend it for anyone that is into Ambient, Experimental, Classic Contemporaneous music. Kyle Bobby Dunn - A Young Person's Guide To is released by Low Point

Exploration #6 - London Pirate Radio

Pirate radio is everywhere in London, born in the 60’s from rusting anti-aircraft towers in the mouth of the Thames. Today’s broadcasts are hidden in plain sight, transmitting from secret tower block studios via homemade rooftop antennas. We put our boots on and went exploring. Palladium Boots

Happy Birthday is Kyle Thomas (aka King Tuff), Chris Weisman, and Ruth Garbus. They formed in November 2008 to play one show at the punk-space “Tinderbox”(RIP), in their hometown Brattleboro, Vermont. Kyle needed a band to play his new pop songs because he was too scared to play by himself. They enjoyed playing with eachother so much that they decided to keep doing it.

Kyle sings and plays lead guitar. The songs are mostly his, but the band arranges and finishes them together. He is also a painter and drawer and loves top 40, shoes, texting, comic books, etc. Ruth Garbus plays drums and sings. She also makes her own music and art. Chris Weisman plays “inverted-tuning” guitar, bass, and sings. He makes 4-track songs, enjoys reading and writing, and is a guitar teacher. Sub Pop

This year winner of The Skateboard Film Festival was the film "Indonesi'am" directed by skateboarder Sébastien Abes. Six French skaters went to Indonesia the less expected skateboard paradise and rolled around for the delight of the locals.

"This film captured so much of what we were hoping for in the International category: a foreign location, filmmakers and skateboarders from outside the United States, and a story to be told with good skateboarding in it." The Skateboard Film Festival
