Making History, From Cuba to Russia to Detroit, for the first time in the Netherlands revered American photographer Andrew Moore will have a exhibition in Amsterdam.
For the past 30 years his camera has documented a world full of forgotten places where the sharp blade of modernization and revolution has left a trace of destruction that at the eyes of Andrew Moore become masterpieces of Modern Art
"The images have different image lines, cultural, historical or visual. I leave it to the viewer to follow this one. There is always one that the viewer can follow."
"Moore has eight solo shows in New York on his name, and many exhibitions within and outside the U.S.. His works are part of collections such as The Metropolitan Museum of Art, Whitney Museum of American Art, The Yale University Art Gallery, The Library of Congress, The Israel Museum, The Museum of Fine Arts Houston, The George Eastman House and The Canadian Centre for Architecture."

"The video for ‘Sycamore Feeling‘, the first single from Trentemøller’s new album ‘Into The Great Wide Yonder’ (album release end of May 2010) is written and directed by New York-based Danish video artist Jesper Just. Set in the deserted ghost town of Centralia, PA, notorious for a mine fire that has burned beneath the ground since 1962, the video shifts between images of the desolate cityscape with smoke and steam rising from the earth, and a woman moving through an abandoned house."

Holy Fuck Dj set in Amsterdam was a feast to my ears, so much class, more and more i prefer to listen to non Dj's but to guys with awesome taste and music collections.
Even before they started i had a very good idea of what to expect and i loved it, psychedelic electronic music, groovy heavy basses, disco and other classics on the mix, lots of cool stuff and if im not mistaken because i was a bit pissed, Emperor Machine, Chicken Lips, Junior Boys, Woolfy VS Projections etc... ... The guy that played after Holy Fuck, gimme a brake dude, after a music feast like that house music !!!!!! My advice is gardening, car washing or fishing.
Trouw is a awesome industrial building that is perfect for epic photography and i would like to spend there one afternoon taking pictures.

Wonderful work of New York Photografer Aaron McElroy.
" In my work I toy with the thinnest lines set between reality and a sense of the unreal. Through to the admixture, I further adjust to a reality punctured, a more surreal placement of life, lying just beneath a surface. Scenes in their randomness, the moments underneath--the subject is one not detracting from reality, but only serving to punctuate the delineation away from reality, towards the essence. " Aaron McElroy

For a few months already i was thinking if i had lost the interest in drone music or if there are less records being produced, is really difficult for me to explain technically what is a drone and even more difficult is to explain in words what makes a excellent drone record. I started listening to this genre with William Basinsky, Belong, Stars of the Lid, Keith Fullerton Whitman, Tim Hecker and Dead Texan so i based my assumptions based on what i heard on these wonderful records.
This week i received an email from Kyle Bobby Dunn a minimalist composer from New York and after listening to what he sent me i was stunned and i recommend it for anyone that is into Ambient, Experimental, Classic Contemporaneous music. "Urban Abstract is a journey across urban space that unfolds in forty, 5 second parts. The journey, in one, two and three dimensions, is a bit like abstract surfing in which the original destination is only reached after a number of seemingly random yet linked detours occur. Points , lines, planes and other abstract elements create a journey through an Urban Abstract." Jopsu Ramu

Petra McCarthy unique abstract acrylic paintings.
"My work is deliberately located within the expressionistic tradition of abstract painting. A spontaneous type of organic abstraction is being explored but through a process of inversion. The formal concerns of colour and mark making are called into question and the surface disrupted and subverted through the specifics of the process of making and assembling" Petra McCarthy
